Javaria Sarmad

Javaria Sarmad is the Managing Director of LMJ Group, Chartered Accountants. As a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), she boasts over 27 years of expertise in risk management, audit, accounting, tax, corporate governance, business advisory, and corporate finance. With senior management experience at esteemed organizations such as Deloitte LLP, Santander, and Ernst & Young, Javaria has a strong track record in assurance, advisory, strategic planning, restructuring, accountancy, and tax planning.

Throughout her career, Javaria has been a value-added partner in numerous business development projects. During her time with prominent UK financial service firms, including the Big 4, she led business development initiatives to grow and enhance practices, providing valuable tax, audit, and prudential advisory solutions to clients, adhering to UK and international regulatory requirements. Her role in transactions has included strategic advice, business restructuring, due diligence, valuations, and acquisitions.

Javaria excels in blending sound commercial advice with tax planning for businesses. She is particularly adept at addressing the unique challenges faced by owner-managed businesses, balancing business and family life objectives.

A Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Javaria is also recognized as a Business and Finance Professional (BFP) by ICAEW. This designation acknowledges her skills, expertise in business and finance, and commitment to ongoing development and high ethical standards.

Outside of her professional life, Javaria enjoys horse riding, cycling, and swimming with her two sons. Her interests include traveling and exploring different cultures and ancient civilizations.
