Managing Director
Javaria Sarmad is the Managing Director of LMJ Group, Chartered Accountants. As a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), she boasts over 27 years of expertise in risk management, audit, accounting, tax, corporate governance, business advisory, and corporate finance. With senior management experience at esteemed organizations such as Deloitte LLP, Santander, and Ernst & Young, Javaria has a strong track record in assurance, advisory, strategic planning, restructuring, accountancy, and tax planning.
Michelle Watts
Associate Director
Michelle is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Associate Director at Lilley and Co, with 24 years of experience in accounting practices and industry.
Michelle has her own portfolio of clients and is responsible for all aspects of their accounting needs, including tax, year-end accounts and management accounts. She is very proactive and approachable and always goes the extra mile to become part of her client’s finance team.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys family holidays, pottering in the garden and relaxing whilst crocheting, knitting or cross-stitching. She also undertakes several voluntary duties as a treasurer of a local charity.
Susan Szoltysek
Practice Senior Manager
Meet Susan Szoltysek, an experienced accountant and office manager who has been an essential part of Rajani & Co for over 26 years.
As an AAT-qualified professional, Susan oversees a wide range of tasks, from managing company accounts and handling both company and personal tax returns to ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
In her role as office manager, she leads and manages staff, handles firm-wide administration, and plays a key role in setting up new companies. Susan’s extensive experience and seniority make her an integral part of the firm’s success and daily operation.
Donna Broome
Director Guernsey
Donna is an experienced bookkeeper with over 15 years of experience working in practice. She is experienced in both Quickbooks Online and Xero.
She enjoys going to the beach and fishing with her husband and children in her spare time.
Caroline Moody
Senior Accountant
Caroline Moody is senior accountant with over 20 years of experience. AAT-qualified and Xero-certified, she has passion for solving complex accounting challenges. From navigating tricky financials to managing large companies, she is always ready to provide expert support—even handling numerous Subway franchises!
She specialize in creating insightful management accounts, forecasts and cashflow analysis that help businesses maintain healthy cash flow and operate smoothly. By helping clients understand their numbers, her vision is to empower clients to unlock their growth potential and ensure their business thrives.
Debbie Noon
Senior Accountant
Debbie is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) with over 24 years of practice experience. Debbie joined us as a Senior Accountant in 2020 and prepares annual accounts and taxes for a diversified range of clients and regular management accounts.
Debbie loves reading, spending time with her husband and two children, camping and sewing in her spare time.
Carol Daglish
Accountant
Carol is a fully qualified member of The Association of Technicians ‘’AAT’’. She has over 17 years of experience working in the practice across a varied client portfolio. Having joined the practice in May 2004, Carol is motivated by the challenges ahead and a diversified client portfolio of many sectors. The ambition and excellence of Holmes Peat Thorpe coupled with the alignment of Carol’s specialisms and hard work look to continue the exemplary service expected by valued clients.
She looks after our individual and corporate clients requirements and is responsible for corporate and personal tax, payroll, year-end/management accounts, trusts and partnerships.
Carol is married with a daughter. She has a broad range of interests including driving, going for long walks with her dog and spending time with her family.
Lee Tiller
Accountant
Lee Tiller is an experienced accountant and have worked for the practice for over 22 years. She is part qualified member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants ‘ACCA’.
She focusses on a portfolio of clients from SME-market to sole proprietors, as she strongly believes in supporting entrepreneurs in their businesses. She enjoys working closely with them to support in their varied business-processes and making compliance easy for them.
Lee is married with two children and loves to spend time with family, attends weekly Zumba class and enjoy going for daily walks in the countryside.
Marilyn Gillard
Accountant
Marilyn is a fully qualified member of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants ‘ACCA’. She has over 17 years of experience working in the practice across a varied client portfolio. Having joined the practice in 2004, Marilyn is motivated by the challenges her role brings specially ones presented by a varied client base over many sectors.
She looks after our individual and corporate clients requirements including charities and trusts. Her area of specialism is in personal & corporation tax, statutory & management accounts, payroll and various company secretariat responsibilities across diverse portfolio of clients.
Marilyn is married, she enjoys travelling, weekend walks and daily Peloton exercise sessions.
Neesha Lakhani
Accountant
Neesha Lakhani is a proud mother of two and happily married. She cherish spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations, and staying active with walking, fitness classes, and swimming.
Since joining the practice in 2015, she has managed a diverse portfolio of clients, including charities, food retailers, subway chains, opticians etc, overseeing their bookkeeping and preparing their year-end accounts and VAT returns. She thrives on the challenges that come with serving a varied client base, takes pride in helping them meet their financial needs.
Over the years, she has continuously grown within the practice, embracing new responsibilities and further developing her skills.
Viral Shah
Payroll Manager
Viral Shah has been with the company since April 2015, currently serving as the Payroll Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, specialising in Advanced Accounting and Statistics, and is part ACCA qualified.
With over 20 years of experience in UK accounting, payroll, and taxation, He has honed his skills in managing payroll processes, particularly within accounting practices and healthcare recruitment. He deals with multiple payroll clients using various software. His key strengths include payroll management, pensions, and P11d reporting.
Muhammad Zahid
Junior Accountant
Muhammad Zahid is a dedicated accountant and part-qualified member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Since joining the firm in April 2024, he has quickly gained valuable experience managing a diverse client portfolio. Certified as a Xero Advisor and Xero Payroll professional, Muhammad confidently handles bookkeeping, personal tax returns, annual accounts, payroll management, and practice administration, and liaises with HMRC on an ongoing basis.
Outside of his professional role, Muhammad values a well-balanced life. He is married and enjoys quality family time, often hosting BBQs and staying active through swimming and gym workouts. His passion for travel and exploring new places keeps him energized and open to new experiences, both personally and professionally.
Amy Becks
Junior Accountant
Amy Becks is currently working towards completing her AAT Level 4 Diploma. Since joining the practice in July 2021, she has handled various administrative and bookkeeping tasks, and assisted with annual accounts and tax returns. Her experience has been with clients from various sectors. With over three years of experience, she has gained valuable knowledge working with a diverse client portfolio.
In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by going to the gym and taking long walks with her dog.
Wajiha Omer

Wajiha brings over 14 years of professional expertise in driving operational excellence across operations, HR, finance, and supply chain management. As a Chartered Certified Accountant, she specializes in optimizing financial operations, streamlining supply chains, and implementing HR strategies that enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance.
Her strategic leadership has delivered high-impact results in both corporate and development sectors, making her a key contributor to LMJ Group’s success. Wajiha’s ability to navigate the complexities of a highly regulated industry has been instrumental in fostering growth and operational improvements.
Judith Blackford FMAAT AATQB
Business Support Manager
Judith is a qualified accounting technician with over 25 years of experience in various business environments. She is proficient in using Xero and QuickBooks and provides training and support for our clients who do their own bookkeeping.
You will find Judith growing vegetables at her allotment in her spare time or spending time with her family.
Laura Limbachya
Bookkeeper and Finance Administrator
Laura is part of our outsourcing team and is a 100% dedicated resource for one of our larger clients.
In her spare time, you will find Laura spending time with her husband, three young children and Toby, her chocolate labrador.
Sharon Cobley
Payroll Officer
Sharon has extensive experience in HR, payroll, and bookkeeping, she brings strong analytical skills to the table.
Her professional journey began in the engineering sector, followed by several years as a licensee in local pubs. Currently, she thrive in a practice environment, where I continue to develop my expertise.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking her two dogs, crafting, and gaming. She is also passionate about leatherworking and hand-spinning fleece for weaving or knitting
